week 20: first t-shirt & toy
babyFLOCK got his first cool t-shirt and toy from the Rev (aka Grandpa) and GrandPatti. Both came from Psycho Baby, based out of Chicago. The Ugly Doll Ox is super plush & goofy and the tiny t-shirt has a friendly skull.

We haven't decided on a mobile just yet, but a few have definitely caught our eye. I love the fish!

week 19: robots
The search is on for nursery artwork. In an effort to find that perfect alphabet print, I came across ModernPOP's etsy shop. Not only did I find some lovely variations of the alphabet, the shop is filled with beautiful prints of numbers, birds and robots! All are modern in design, affordably priced, and perfect for children. I scooped up three robot prints and have my eye on one of the alphabets. You can take a look at all of ModernPOP's prints here.

week 19: stripes!
We finally found out we're having boy! What's next? First, we ran to ikea and picked up the Sniglar Crib. We love the natural wood and simple lines of the crib, and some cute bedding will definitely dress it up a bit. Next up, paint the nursery. I know, blue is the obvious choice, but we decided to paint wide bands of horizontal stripes in two shades of blue. We chose Valspar Cockatiel and Bleached Slate.
